THEIR MISSION

Mental Health Access is a student led 501 (c) (3) certified non-profit organization dedicated to battling the stigma around mental health. This stigma surrounding mental health leads to a sense of shame, contributing to the disproportionate levels of treatments, along with underrepresented studies. In a society where mental health issues are just as common as they are misunderstood, Mental Health Access strives to advocate for the accessibility society is lacking. They do this by creating informative posts detailing misconceptions and why they are untrue, symptoms of several mental health disorders and their risk factors, and treatments.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

All of their proceeds went to Postpartum Support International (PSI). Mental Health Access has many more fundraisers planned for the summer, and are counting on your support!

UPCOMING EVENT

Mental Health Access is holding tennis coaching led by high school students from Sunday, July 7th to Sunday, August 11th. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Jed Foundation: promoting mental health and preventing suicide. The program will occur one hour a week and the total cost for 6 weeks is $180.  Applicants will be served on a first come first serve basis.
